Meeting at Collins – 7pm-8pm – Halloween Party – please wear your costumes and help welcome visiting Scouts. 

Northwoods Wreaths and Decorations fundraiser – Orders and money due Wednesday November 6th, 2019 – Checks only made out to Boy Scout Troop 493 – Delivery/sorting Saturday November 23rd, 2019  

Cody Porter Eagle Service Project – Final push this week for donations to my Eagle Scout Service Project for move in essential items for our Veterans going from homelessness into homes. This weekend Saturday November 3rd from 12pm-4pm and Sunday November 4th from 9am-12pm at my house, my fellow Scouts will help me sort and count all the donations so the I can present them to the Jesse Brown Veterans Administration. If you have already donated thank you. I can pick up or you can drop off donations or bring to the meeting.

Halloween Party/New Scout visitation – Collins Gym – Wednesday October 30th 7pm-8pm – Come in costume and celebrate with fun and games. This is a recruiting event so feel free to invite your friends.  

Bonfire and Flag Retirement Ceremony – November 1st 6:00pm to 8pm- Spring Valley Center at the Cabin– Please invite all the Webelos you know. The ceremony is incredible. See flyer:

Please RSVP with the number of people that will be attending by October 25th. We want to make sure we have enough food. Spring Valley Nature Center at the Cabin 1111 E. Schaumburg Rd. Hotdogs, chips, donuts and hot chocolate will be served Kindly park in the main lot, bring a flashlight to get to the fire bowl/cabin (Please dress appropriately for the weather)
